The Dog Ate Our HTML

by Kit Kennedy

Add to the above:

  • homework devoured
  • oops on the rug
  • uncontrollable slobbering
  • new sneakers, teeth marks make unwearable
  • another oops Aunt Elizabeth just stepped in
  • irate neighbors who don’t understand barking as the primordial cantata
  • dumbness
  • stinking breath
  • matted fur.

While excuses don’t placate, these dog-actions are peccadillos
and, with time, excusable compared to my sins of omission

I demand recognition & justice,

the cat
